Meet Lissa Robertson, our engaging and enthusiastic Certified Activity Director!

Three years ago, Lissa joined the Highland Meadows team and since then has put her heart into loving and encouraging those around her. Her passion for others is evident in everything she does – planning daily activities and supporting hobbies filled with positivity, fun, and friendship.

In fact, one of Lissa’s favorite things may be the simplest. She absolutely loves the time handing out the Daily Chronicle! We believe this small activity gives her the opportunity to interact with each person, which means so much to her. This is who Lissa is – a relationship builder!

Outside of work, she enjoys time with family which includes Steve, her husband of 47 years, their three children, and seven grandchildren.

She does stay remarkably busy! In addition to her responsibilities at Highland Meadows, Lissa is also working towards a certification in nutrition. She finds the study of nutrition fascinating, especially as to how it affects our bodies and our minds.

On Sundays, you might find her in the Toddler Class at church (“They are so much fun!”) and, when on vacation, she is likely to seek stunning mountain ranges, and dreams to visit Banff, Canada taking in the Northern Lights.

If you have followed our activities, you may have seen Lissa at the piano – music is a big part of her life at home and here at Highland Meadows. She appreciates the joy of music! So, whether she is playing for us or bringing talented musical performers, our halls are often filled with beautiful music for all to enjoy – staff, residents, and patients alike.

Lissa wears many hats in life and here at Highland Meadows and we are so thankful for all the gifts she brings to everyone around her.
